The In-sight Exhibition 2024 [Lagos and Ibadan]

We set out in September 2024 to exhibit 15 paintings in partnership with The Irede Foundation. The main aim was to sensitize the audience about sight disabilities. After a productive 4 day exhibition, we brought every piece down to Ibadan city and exhibited in partnership with The Anasa Gallery for six days.

Diverse sight Issues were illustrated and the conversations at the exhibitions covered the causes, symptoms and cure/ management of these conditions. A very significant point at the exhibition was when persons with some of the sight Issues illustrated in the paintings walked in and shared their personal experiences.

It was quite an enlightening experience as we further realized how much art could be weaponized to effectively promote health and a more inclusive society. As a result, we definitely will host more sensitization programs, exhibitions and Campaigns in this direction. hope to help as many persons with sight disabilities as possible, support NGOs that fight their course and make a lasting impact in the health sector through art.
